the last few times we’ve had free-for-alls (FFAs) scheduled, my kids have all opted NOT to have them b/c they get so worn out (that’s the whole idea!!)… yesterday, b/c they only had ONE FFA, after lunch, by the time I started trying to fix dinner, they were just about bouncing off the walls again, so I decided that FFAs are no longer optional: it’s not something they GET to do, it’s something they HAVE to do… I may only do 3 FFAs/day instead of 4, and I might knock them down to 10 mins from 15, but they WILL have FFA time and get all the wild loud rowdiness out or I’m liable to lock them all in their rooms… :-X
